Using this website

You may browse this site and use the enquiry and checkout forms for their intended purpose — asking about or buying OnSquared's services. You may not scrape, copy or republish the site's content, design or code for your own commercial use, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the site, or submit false information through the forms.

Quotes and pricing

Prices shown on the pricing page and on individual service pages are our standard published rates in GBP, excluding any third-party costs (such as domain registration, stock licensing you request, or ad spend paid directly to Google or Meta). A quote is valid for 30 days unless we say otherwise. The scope, price and timeline for your specific project are confirmed in writing (email or the project brief) before work starts — that confirmation is what governs the project, not any earlier estimate.

Payment

Every one-off website build requires a mandatory deposit of 30% of the project price, paid before any work starts. This 30% covers all work up to and including the design demo. The remaining 70% is invoiced once the whole website is complete, and is due before the site goes live or is handed over. Monthly plans (website care, SEO, ad management) are billed in advance and renew automatically each month via Stripe until you cancel. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe — we do not see or store your full card details. Overdue invoices may result in work or hosting being paused until payment is received.

Cancellation and refunds

Monthly plans have no long-term lock-in: you can cancel any time, effective from the end of the current billing period, by contacting us.

For one-off website builds: you can cancel within 24 hours of paying your deposit for a full refund. After that 24-hour window, the 30% deposit is non-refundable, as it secures your project slot and covers the work up to the design demo. No further work is carried out on the website after the demo stage beyond what the 30% deposit covers. If you cancel after the 24-hour window, the deposit is retained; the remaining 70% is only ever invoiced once the whole website is complete.

Ownership and intellectual property

Once a website build is paid in full, you own the final site, its content and its domain — there is no lock-in, and you can move the site elsewhere at any time. Until final payment is made, OnSquared retains ownership of the work. Any third-party assets used under licence (stock photography, fonts, plugins) remain subject to their own licence terms. OnSquared may reference completed client work in its own portfolio and marketing unless you ask us in writing not to.

Revisions and what's included

Each plan includes a set number of revision rounds, agreed at the start of the project. Requests outside the agreed scope (extra pages, a different design direction after sign-off, new functionality) are quoted separately before we start on them, so there are no surprise charges.

Hosting and website care

Where a monthly care plan is included or purchased, it covers hosting, routine updates, basic security monitoring and the SEO upkeep described on the relevant service page. It does not cover a full redesign, a new build, or fixing damage caused by changes made by you or a third party outside OnSquared.

Third-party services

Delivering our services relies on third-party providers, including Stripe (payments), Supabase (application data), Cloudflare (hosting and security) and Web3Forms (enquiry delivery), along with the ad platforms (Google, Meta) for any campaigns we manage on your behalf. We are not responsible for outages, price changes or policy changes made by these third parties, though we will tell you promptly if one affects your project or account.

Liability

We take reasonable care to deliver work to a professional standard, but we do not guarantee specific search rankings, ad results or business outcomes, since these depend on factors outside our control (competition, algorithm changes, your market). To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant service in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as loss of profit or loss of business opportunity.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top of this page shows the latest revision. For an active project or subscription, we will tell you directly before a material change affects you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
